Looking Up

I had another long day - in the morning at my mother’s house, helping D, and then back quickly to work in my office all afternoon. 

But things are looking up. Last night and this afternoon, I finished the memory book for my mother. It’s become bigger than I expected: A 102-page photobook that includes not just pictures but also letters, stories and memories from some of her old friends and colleagues. I‘ll leave the last editorial touches for tomorrow, as soon as I‘m back from my mother’s once again.

The best news today came from Frau G, who is feeling better and hopes to be discharged from hospital on Wednesday. Of course she won’t be working right away, but it’s a big relief to know that she will be back soon.
