Stormy Weather

It's been an admin-type day today. Nothing arduous, but it needed doing. Along with a bit of online shopping... And hobby catch up.

Later I decided I really needed to go out for a walk and find a Blip, while the sun was out. By the time I got to the river bank the clouds had closed in and there were flecks of rain in the air. The flecks soon became large, abundant raindrops the size of pear drops, and I was quickly soaked literally to my skin. 

It eased off after I turned to go home so I decided I may as well continue my walk. The rain stopped and started again several times before I got back home. As I walked from Monks Road to our street, the sun came out again.

Once home I took off the wet clothes, including my jacket which looks waterproof but actually has a quilty filling that absorbs water like a sponge! Everything is now dripping on the landing.
