Red Squirrel

Today was labour day here in Canada. It makes for a long weekend and also marks the unofficial end of summer when kids go back to school. I enjoyed the sunshine this morning as I took my walk and had the red squirrel come and see me a few times for peanuts. This little red squirrel has come to me each day of the weekend and spends more times hiding peanuts in the pine trees than eating them. I am sure it is a sign of winter coming
