On The Boardwalk

We all had long lies, and we eventually woke up to grey drizzle, not very inspiring. After a very leisurely breakfast, we pottered. TT broke out one of the jigsaws we brought. 

By early afternoon the rain seemed to be going off so L&R headed off to play golf. TT and I headed over to Brodick to meet BB from the ferry. He was looking for lunch, so we went to a cafe for a sandwich. By the time we emerged the sun was properly out, so we wandered, then walked out along the Fisherman’s Walk, and back into Brodick.

We took the long route back to our cottage, via Lochranza. We had just enough time to get changed, then we all headed out for dinner at the local hotel. We had a lovely meal, but I definitely ate too much!

We wandered home and had a quiet rest of evening.
