Watching waiting

Like the old Guinness TV ad', this man in his kayak seemed to be watching and waiting for the waves to be just right in Scarborough South Bay today.

I was on the seafront to snap a protest about the Council's plan to pile thousands of tons of granite boulders along the Spa sea wall, as rock armour sea defences.
