Bark and Boulders (Tamworth)

The title was suggested by our friend Pat, who is visiting from Vermont with her husband Tif. He worked with Marylee's first husband Fred at Moody's in New York City in the 1970s, and he met Pat climbing Kilimanjaro in Africa 30 years ago. They are still bicycling every day and climbing mountains--currently nearing climbs of all 40-odd four thousand-foot mountains (ca. 1200 meters) in New Hampshire.

This was taken on a walk from our house up Bunker Hill Road this afternoon. It gives a sense of the dense woods that cover most of Tamworth. NB: I've marked an approximate location on the map, but the map is misleading; it shows Bunker Hill Road ending as a dead end--in fact it goes through to the south and a bit west, ending at Route 113.
