Staunton Harold Woodland

I thought I had a foot appointment in Ashby but on phoning, discovered I'd got the date wrong.

With rain showers in prospect we decided to go to the Peach House restaurant at Staunton Harold garden centre for ham, eggs and chips. Delicious. And it rained while we were there.

Basil had not one, but TWO sausages. That plus the meaty bone he destroyed for breakfast, filled him up. He didn't want any dinner.

The woodland we drive through to get to Staunton Harold always strikes me as being quite mystical. Yes, it's meteorological autumn.
