A relaxing afternoon

What to do after we’d finished our business in the city? I could have taken isbi out to lunch, taken in a bit of culture or maybe we could have gone for a lazy cruise on the harbour. After considering all options, I settled on a visit to the bike shop.
My only road bike (my BMW R60/7) is nearing 50yo and suitable only for light duties - I’m considerably older than that and also past my motorcycling best so my instruction to the salesman was “Mate, I just go for the odd ride with my mates and I just want something less than 200kgs that can keep up with my friend (rustycrapp) on his Harley”. “That shouldn’t be hard!!” was his reply.
By the time we’ve returned from Canada and then moved house, I might need to settle for a Honda 90 postie bike so the Beemer in the blip is not on the list.
