Maid in Wales

An ugly mug!

I went to Cowbridge this morning, and the charity shops were looking very low in stock. I did see a Joules gilet, in the Heart Foundation shop, but they wanted £28 for it. It was in good condition admittedly, but I thought that was a bit over the top, so I didn't buy it. My extra photo is the freesia wreath I saw at the entrance to the church two weeks ago. Obviously it's way past it's best, but still beautiful in it's own way.   I was looking forward to a scone with jam & cream in Waitrose for £2, but instead, they had a cookie for half price, so I had one to go with my flat white. I was walking around with my trolley, doing a small shop, when a lady , coming in the opposite  direction, put  two packets of dried fruit in my trolley, and when she made eye contact, and  realized it wasn't her husband pushing the trolley, she apologised profusely, and we both had a good laugh about it. My g/daughter has just phoned to say they put the washing machine on and an error code has come on to say no water, so he has gone to sort it out. They  are having their settee's delivered today, and a new television, so they will be more comfortable tonight.
I saw this mug in a charity shop window, not sure what it represents, but I definitely wouldn't buy it.
