Harvesting Again

Have had a good day. Did some admin early on, and then set off to the garden centre to spend some of my retirement gift vouchers. I stocked up on peat free compost, bulbs and a beautiful David Austin Rose. And still have vouchers left for the spring!
Later on we went to the allotment to pick all the pears,  they are dropping off the tree now. I also summer pruned one apple trees, the apples came off the prunnings. George's prunning workshop has really boosted my confidence.
The extra is of large tree being felled on the canal.
M is coming over for dinner.
