I’m trying……

……(very, R would possibly say!) to use up some of the apples we’ve been given. It’s been a good year & there are a lot about I think. This is an old fashioned apple cake from a recipe of my mothers. It’s really rather nice…..full of apples, lemon, spiced sugar & walnuts!!
