North pier Oban

We are now setting off on a three week jolly, the cat sitters arrived last night, on a motorbike, and I thought we were travelling light. They are from the east side of Scotland, know the island a little and hopefully will enjoy their ten days in our home.  Another couple are taking over partway through. All five cats arrived home to say goodbye….. or was it breakfast time? I think we know. 

We caught a bus from Oban to Glasgow, and from there one onto Edinburgh airport where we are staying tonight, in a hotel nearby.  All went to plan with plenty of chat along the way.  Such is island life we have to allow plenty of time for onward travel in case there is a hiccup with the ferry.  Today was good.  A day of sunshine and heavy showers.
