Day off

D has a week's leave, so he revelled in not having to go shopping for a week's supplies, do heaps of washing, etc. We went over to Stockbridge (via a strange circuitous bus route due to an unexplained death on Gt Junction St), wandered down through the Dean Gardens, browsed the charity shops, and had a pint in the Stockbridge Tap. All very satisfactory. 

On our way back to the house, I was charmed by this very relaxed looking dog who was lying outside the Port o' Leith pub, along with his more excitable friend. Then just round the corner we saw a small buddleia bush with not only a red admiral but also a painted lady on it (extra)! First one I've seen this year, I think.
