Sun & Rain

Sunday. Bright bursts of sun and heavy rain all day. I made the most of a quiet morning, pottering around happily in Guild Wars 2. Everyone’s excited to meet Monty’s girlfriend for the first time today: Kenadee’s train got into Canterbury at 11.30 am. Monty picked her up, and they grabbed lunch in town before coming home for us to meet her. Definitely an occasion for a celebratory barbecue, so I sizzled up plenty of burgers, sausages, pork steaks, kebabs, piri-piri chicken and cobs of corn. Later on, a family game night started with a few rounds of Scattergories.
