On the trail

KG and I had our regular Tuesday walk along a section of the Palmetto Trail this morning where we were joined by SS. We walked here a few weeks ago in the rain so we cut our walk short. This time with all the talking we did we ended up with 7 miles!!!! This is definitely more miles than we normally walk but we did great on this flat trail.

It was much cooler for a morning walk also. Spotlighted-The eastern king snake and the eastern velvet ant joined us as well as several turtles in the river below the bridge. It had been a while since I had walked this section so it was the first time I had seen the mural on a road overpass bridge wall.

The old railroad bridge over the river is always a photo opportunity.
