Aden Park
Bright and breezy in Cruden Bay today so breezy that Mrs CBL and I decided to head over to Mintlaw for a woodland walk. As always the shelter provided by the trees there was very welcome.
There were only a few signs of autumn on show but given it is only day two of meteorological autumn that wasn’t a surprise.
Alas there were no sign of any squirrels due to the fact that much of the area where they have their dreys is in considerable disarray in the aftermath of Storm Floris.
In fact the clear up of the damage done around the park is still ongoing and the loud sounds of machinery and men at work (see main photo) accompanied us wherever we walked, there was no escape!
So not the most peaceful walk we’ve had at Aden Park but it was nonetheless still very enjoyable as it is so beautiful. When next we visit the autumn colours will be on show and hopefully birdsong will be the soundtrack we hear.
