The September Issue
Today has been a very busy, productive day despite my fibro pain, fatigue and the tendonitis in my knee.
I have managed to get a few things crossed off my to do list. I was at my GP surgery today to get bloods done this afternoon.
I have been experiencing some other symptoms that are not related to my fibromyalgia and other chronic conditions so hopefully the bloods will give me some answers.
I was very grateful to get a nurse who was very good at drawing blood as medics often find it impossible to get blood out of me despite me doing all the things that are advised to make it easier like staying well hydrated and so on.
I had a few errands to run whilst out so got them done and signed a petition in support of a local issue, Save Our Sands.
My tendonitis has been behaving itself today for the most part and I enjoyed the beautiful sunshine we had here which was accompanied by a glorious breeze - my favourite weather. My fibro was a little happier for it :)
I’m feeling incredibly fatigued and pained tonight but that is to be expected as I have used a lot of spoons today.
Got my Duolingo Welsh and Ukrainian completed tonight and will catch up with Blip journals between now and the morning.
Today’s Blip is of the September issue of Vogue which I picked up at the weekend. I only ever buy a copy of this issue as it is the big fashion issue and I love a flick through it as fashion is one of my passions.
I would never buy designer clothing though, even if my finances allowed. I love finding preloved and vintage clothing in charity shops and sometimes online. I rarely pay full price for clothing, I am adept at finding a bargain.
My favourite fashion designer was the late Vivienne Westwood. She was ahead of her time, what an iconic, inspiring woman.
Having had a quick flick through Vogue, I have spotted some great future Blip inspiration…stay tuned for some amusing high fashion trends!
Thanks for all your kind comments and stars as always :)
