Pareidolia?

That was a new word to me before I became a blipper. It is amazing how much you learn reading people's journals! And honest, I was not aware of the face until I had downloaded the photo into my computer and there it was! Rather creepy.... 

It seems that my new hibiscus plant is liking its new home; we planted it near its cousin the Rose of Sharon (extra) which has been very spindly and has been struggling out there for years. This is its best summer, but it still needs some encouragement...maybe  now that it has a supportive friend, it will come into its own. 

Today is a big holiday here - Labour Day - and the last long weekend of the summer. Tomorrow, school starts. When I first retired from teaching, I remember sitting on the dock at the cottage sipping my morning coffee, thinking of school buses, new timetables, new kids, lessons to prepare, staff meetings, and stress and how I did not miss any of it! Not one bit!
