The Back 40

The house behind ours was torn down years ago and I have used the old garage pad as a temporary parking place ever since.  The owner of the property used to show up once a month or so to mow down the tall weeds.but he's been a no-show this summer.
    Last week I asked a neighbor if I could use his big power mower to make "my parking spot" more accessible if the current condition continued into October.  Then, a couple days later, when I got home from running some errands, the area had been mowed.  
    What a kind gesture.
