Red Admiral

We have had some fantastic butterfly weather in August. Plenty of species still to be seen. I counted seven in our last 24 hours in Wales. Caught in the morning light this Red Admiral was especially fine.

Now home after two weeks away in the land of no signal. A bit of blip catching up to do. A good holiday after a bumpy start. Ruth now fine apart from a nasty cough .... and her long standing ligament injury. Life is never dull - they might put that quote on my gravestone!
