A trip to Chester

It was my birthday (75) and we had good weather for our outing. What a lovely day we had in Chester. The photo is taken from on the City Walls by the Eastgate clock.
We went in the Cathedral, mooched around the city centre looking at ancient  and interesting buildings, did a bit of adventure lab caching, walked parts of the City Walls, had lunch. After lunch we walked down to the river, had a look along it and stopped for an ice cream at Snugbury's. A bit more adventure lab caching before walking back to the centre, looking at more ancient buildings on the way. We had a mooch along The Rows and then back to the car park to go home.
We've not been to Chester for a long time but I'm sure we'll be back in the near future.
