A little choppy

Hard to show this but the crossing from Dover was indeed choppy, too windy to even try to get on deck as I usually do. So a through the window picture it is.

As you can see, we were with Irish Ferries, which was interesting as there were so few passengers. Lots of trucks, but very few other vehicles. So, very quiet and the rocky conditions were not bad at all.

We are now in Calais - a couple of nights in our favourite Hotel Meurice, a chance to wander the coast, find some nice meals and do a bit of shopping. The wind has dropped, it is sunny and warm, G has gone for a run by the sea and we are booked into our favourite little restaurant round the corner.
