Modesty

Went to Inveraray to meet eldest and have lunch. While the town itself was its usual nice busy self, lunch I have to say was boggin.Eldest had a chicken burger that looked unappealing.  Donald had a fish that was curling up on itself but as hes the human equivalent of a labrador  he said it was ok. I had a hamburger that looked like it had been trampled underfoot before being chucked on my plate. When they said served with leaves they weren't kidding  I  think they were from the first autumnal fall from the trees. The chips were mingin also. Not going back there for sure.
Otherwise we had a nice plod round the town which seemed also to attract more than its fair share of wasps. Entering the sweetie shop was not for the faint hearted if you have an aversion to all things flying. 
There was however a fantastic second hand shop called Sids Vintage and it is well worth a visit.
Still it was nice to catch up with eldest daughter.
