A dull, damp day so after my early appointment at the dentist sis and I headed to the Kelvingrove Art Galleries.

I have been many times but today was a first when one of the staff pointed out these cast iron replicas of .....
The bird that never flew, the bell that never rang and the fish that never swam.

They were almost totally hidden in the central hand rails on one of the staircases. They were very dark and quite difficult to photograph.
