Three of my favourites .....

.... in the Kelvingrove Art Galleries and Museum.

The stained glass window is the work of Harry Clarke an Irish Arts and Crafts designer. It was created just over a hundred years ago in 1923.

Motherless, about 1889, is a beautiful plaster sculpture by George Lawson. The young girl's mother has died in childbirth or during a Victorian epidemic, leaving her father to look after her.

The third picture is just a favourite view of an empty corridor .... I did have to wait for a few minutes for everyone to disappear.
