Today we walked back over the ridge we cycled over yesterday on our way into the village. Today we walked up the steeper face which was pretty easy and then along the ridge to the highest point in Brittany. The ridge line isn't very sharp and the walking was easy.

Today's back blip is the white rocks that stick out of the ridge and somewhere is the formal marker that is the highest point in Brittany at 384 m. I find it very funny as I grew up in the Pennines at around 300 m, and unless you went down the valley, whichever direction you went you go up to around 600 m depending in which hill you went over.

The white rocks you see are pressure cooked sandstones, which have taken on a kind of glassy finish, but aren't too slippery to walk over.

After returning to the campsite, we went to the bakery and bought some bread for tomorrow and a kind of flapjack. About half an hour after eating the flapjack I started to get stomach ache and started to feel a little queasy. After a while we went to the local coop bar, social-club and general shop to buy some food for dinner.
