Light, At The End Of The Day

We got soaked this morning.

But this afternoon we basked in glorious sunshine, which lit up the landscape.

From our elevated position in the hills of Mid Wales, we watched the sun and clouds paint the landscape and revelled in the glory of this special corner of Wales.

I used the camera and long lens to pick out some detail, and took too many pictures.

In extra there some wind turbines on the west facing ridge at Dethenydd. Always a dramatic sight in these conditions.

I also saw a beluga whale flying over. An Airbus Beluga to be exact. A monstrous sight  which was difficult to believe. Extra added for only a short while....

Strangely it didn't show on my Flight radar app. Maybe I imagined it...
