Thunder Road . . . Bruce Springsteen

This morning I was in Nelson again and had a good walk with Jen in sunshine beside the Matai River.  As I drove into my street I saw the Volkswagens were out.  It was time for them to be warranted and one of them registered.  Mildred in extras is colourful but Ratty in the main is just too weird to overlook.  It is a 1964 Volkswagen Kharman Ghia.  The distressed look is on purpose but I can't remember the reason behind it.
