Waymo partnered with Jaguar Land Rover to develop and use the all electric Jaguar I-PACE as a fully self-driving vehicle for its Waymo One robotaxi service.
(I had a bad accident 10 years ago. Labor Day was the anniversary.) My brain has recovered tremendously and, with it, my eyesight, as in my brain’s ability to handle the eye input. I don’t think I should try progressive lenses though, too risky, but today I’m trying progressive contact lenses for those times I want to talk to someone who is not far and not cell-phone distance. Right now they are blurry and make me sick so I take off my glasses to talk to them and get a headache.
Contact lenses are so much more comfortable than three decades ago.
My third Kate friend told me some of the USAID contractors have been getting jobs. I asked if they were the younger ones and she said, yes, she noticed only the youngest of them were getting jobs.
Yesterday was the final day when there were any people at USAID.
