Linlithgow to Auchinstarry Marina by bike

Decided to do another section of the Union canal, started at Linlithgow were we had finished last time, we crossed over the Avon aqueduct which is 26m high and 25om long making it the biggest in Scotland. Then onto the Falkirk tunnel which is very long and dark in places then on to the Falkirk wheel which was a good place for a break. The path canal then follows the course of the Antonine Wall onto Auchinstarry Marina which is a bit of a surprise after lots of open ground. Unfortunetely the hill up to Croy Station was just a bit too far after 23 miles so bike was pushed quickly to avoid missing the train back to Linlithgow. A good day even with the sore bits.
