Colourful Thursday

Off to the local Community Hospital in Haddington to get an X-ray on my errant finger, as requested by the lovely hand surgeon. I’m certainly getting my money’s worth out of the NHS.

I left in plenty of time, as it sometimes takes a while to get a parking space, however, I was lucky on got one after 25 minutes going round in circles. 

It’s daft, as they build these new hospitals away from town and city centres, with limited public transport options and wonder why people have to use cars to get there. That said, I still had minutes to spare to wander round the grounds to get a blip, and there are some nice sculptures (see extras). 

Anyway, once in the hospital, it was all serenity and I was taken on time and out within fifteen minutes. Well done to Andrew, who was both funny, as well as professional.

Now back home and looking forward to Gordon visiting to do his annual boiler service.
