Car Shelter
Not much time for photography today. We spent rather a long time assembling this shelter for the car which will free up the garage space. I reckon Kirsi has designs on the garage being her workspace/messy studio for work which is too mucky to do in the house.
Great fun trying to decipher the dreaded instructions for this contraption not helped by the fact that they were obviously translated from English to Finnish. One of the earliest instructions was to just hand tighten all the wing nuts. Now with my early working years spent in the engineering field, I think I know what a wing nut is. Half way through construction we ran out of wing nuts. That was the moment it dawned on me that what they actually meant was Ring Bolts, of which the box contained the required quantity. A ring bolt is not a wing nut! I always thought it was only the Chinese who did things like this. We had to dismantle the whole thing and start again.
