Beyond the rainbow why?

This was the scene this morning a I left for work.

The sun was shining but there were raindrops and this rainbow 

But as I sat in the car I looked at my pallet flowers and thought. Oh dearie me. I need to paint that 

So I text Si as I left and asked him to unscrew the baskets and I would deal with it when I came home 

Si had to go to an allotment emergency meeting. Oh dear god. I really do wish that Boy would write a screenplay.  We have so many ridiculous stories it would run for series after series 

When I left I spent theory minutes looking for the correct paint and a paint brush.  After exhausting myself I gave up and sat at the patio table with a cuppa tea 

And looked over at the gate.. where Si had left me a tin of fresh paint and a paintbrush pah ha ha ha 

I painted the pallet and then I started on the fence.  I figured since I was there I may as well continue 

Si came home remarkably quickly. (One hour) And we sniggered about the happenings 

My neighbour came in for a chat in my office - the back door table.  She told me some good sad news. And I gave her my advice..  I hope it was all good advice 

Since then we have sat in front of TV   and very nice it is too
