Kirkjufell mountain

A gloomy start to the day with the forecast being for heavy rain. We left Hellnar and drove to Stykkishólmur to catch the ferry across Breiðafjörður Bay. Luckily, the rain was never more than a few spots and the sun even came out as we were waiting for the ferry. We had a lovely calm crossing to Brjánslækur and drove on to Patreksfjordur. The next few days will be spent exploring the Westfjords. It feels very remote!
