Bloomin’ steaming
So many photos to choose from today.
After another hearty breakfast we headed up Glen Fleshie. Some 52 years ago I ended up there at the end of my Duke of Edinburgh Gold hike which involved walking through the Lairig Ghru.. it was good to be back and see the heather blooming and the silver birch and Scots pine trees. I don’t recall the gliding school though.
After a lunch stop at Carrbridge we went on the Speyside Steam railway. Great fun and despite the showers some lovely views. Even a double rainbow.
Back at base an enjoyable dinner and a last dip in the hot tub. Travel tomorrow!
