Stop pretending you care about kids!

So, instead of taking guns away after yet another school shooting, some states, led by Florida, are now removing the mandate for all vaccines for children. The a$$hat in charge of health in Florida actually compared the ‘imposition’ of vaccines to slavery (the guy is actually Black: talk about selling your soul…). Florida’s rationale is that it’s up to each individual to do with as they please with their own body…. Unless of course that body happens to have a uterus, then no decision is yours anymore (Florida bans abortions after six weeks…)

This all hits close to home of course as we are spending a month helping babysit our daughter’s 5-month old, who for several more months will have to depend on others getting vaccinated and providing herd immunity in order not to get sick. Thankfully she lives in a Colorado but, of course, people, including unvaccinated Floridians, travel…
