More survivors

Back to the Bridge Club this afternoon.

I’m always surprised at how out of practice I feel when I have to handle actual cards for a face to face game. I confess to playing lots on line where the cards are automatically sorted into suits. So much easier. 

Since lockdown, I’ve stopped playing in the evening. Driving home on the A38,  in among the heavy lorries in the dark, after eleven o’clock was never fun. At home, I can relax with a gin and tonic…..

But it’s nice to see real people and catch up….
And sometimes I have been known to play ok.
