Squabbles at the bird feeder

There was a great variety of finches squabbling at the old bird feeder this morning. The greenfinches are generally the most aggressive with the young goldfinches, top left, taking the brunt but interestingly it is a goldfinch threatening a tiny juvenile siskin in the bottom right photo. No harm was done and I hope they all got an equal share of the sunflower seeds, there is plenty for everyone.

We are heading out for a curry tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday & the day he finished work, perhaps forever!
