Cyclamen hederifolium, also known as Ivy-leaved C

Had planned to go to Weymouth for a Heritage open day visit. Lucky I checked as it's not for another 2 weeks.

So instead met our friends G&N at the tennis club. They weren't very happy when we atrived 30 minutes late (my fault - I always get distracted).

Club busy, there was a national tournament on. Good to chat people we haven't seen for ages (as Mr B left the club 2 years ago to play in the Lower Gardens, as his knees give probs).

Walked back via the bus stop Mr. B took delight seeing the cyclamens growing on the verge. They come back every year. Remind him of the woods near where he lived in the north east of Italy.
