Red Arrows on the line

Heard their roar, up like a shot, grabbed my phone, made a beeline for the window in the spare room so as not to wake C…….. and there they were practicing their aerobatics over the fields behind the bungalows opposite.

My new phone camera is pretty impressive, after a couple of blurry shots , this turned out pretty well considering the distance. Made my day, don’t think I’ll ever tire of seeing these guys on our doorstep, pretty lucky really :-)

Not the best nights sleep, woke early, firstly someone in C’s elderly neighbour’s house drilling at 08.30, not that early I know, but it was gone 02.30 before I got off to sleep :-/ Shouldn’t complain though, otherwise I might not have heard the planes ;-)

I’ve come with C to tonight’s gig before heading home tomorrow. Not feeling too bad, still coughing but on the mend :-)
