Long journey home

A fab morning spent with the delightful L and L! We went on a walk to the fairy tree. A hollow tree on the top of the mountain just up the valley. Children have left  various 'magical' treasures inside it which can be exchanged. L decided to leave a gem stone and swap it for a meditating frog. Lunch, then home. A very long journey.  I left just past 1 and with minimum stops the 4.5 hour (estimated journey) took me until 6.40! No stops but heavy, stationary traffic on the M25 meant that I was delayed. 

AGM at MAC and I was just in time. I decided to stand down as Secretary after my year in post and glad that another member was elected to do the role for next year. We shall see what happens next. Home at 9.15 ... ravenous... and ready for bed.
