Access Denied

They are doing major works on the railway crossing in the middle of Blackheath this weekend. 
It is the main, and one of only two crossings to the other side of the line and to the Megalong Valley, not to mention Wally's house. The other crossing is a fair distance away towards the edge of town.
The connection to Silly Saturday is Barry wanted to walk across to visit Wally so he went along to pedestrian bridge at the railway station only to find it was closed. So he tried to cross here but was denied. Finally one of the workmen telephoned someone and got them to open the bridge.
Even sillier, Wally had to forgo his visit to The Office as it was all a bit much for him to negotiate.
