Autumn Crocus

After putting up with their large, ungainly leaves earlier in the year, it’s always a joy to see these lovely flowers appear in the autumn   Out this morning chatting with friends at the Village Coffee Morning and this afternoon I’ve cut the lawns, done the edges, emptied a couple of tubs and planted some wallflowers. A beautiful day with sunshine and a warm breeze. All my washing dried very quickly.
