Not much colour

Early walk to pick up paper was warm. Disappointed when daughter said she could meet up today as she needed to go into the city, hopefully tomorrow. So I went to Sainsburys and did quite a big shop, seems to get more expensive every time I go or perhaps it’s all those offers on the app tempting me to buy things not on my list. Helped hubby in the garden before heading off for a walk with Hetty. He was trimming a rather tall conifer and needed to stand on the shed roof to reach, so I passed tools up and took branches away.
Noticed that the only colours in the garden now are red and orange berries. Sorted two shelves of a bookcase full of my favourite author but decided some really need to go as I now have books piled in front of books and I really don’t like that.
Saturday so will be settling down to watch a film.
