Down a small Northumberland county lane crossing the South Tyne River you will find Featherstone Bridge, a single span arched stone bridge dating back to 1775. See my extra.
It is a good place for a bench to rest travel weary hikers and it appears for an adventurous swimmer who might want to go topless and leave their bikini top!
There was no sign of said swimmer but I was curious as to why a door key was also left…
