Knit 'n Natter
I woke up, which is a good start to any day. Had a great reunion yesterday p.m. with Mark and Judith, previous friends and neighbours of the Parish. They now live on the very edge of the Solway Firth. Very blowy and overcast today, it is anticipated there will be a queue ootside the Cooncel offices the morn demanding a blue sky rebate. The Current Mrs Creel only does requests when she's asked. However she knitted this bunnet for Maggie; eagle eyed Blippers may soon spot this in Moray. Took her 6 hours from start to finish; steam off the needles was incredible. In his updated style guide Bernard defines 'flâneur' as someone who makes quiches. Gordon the Postie is on strike; Desmond has custody of Blanche's chuachua and, as for Scullion and Cook, l should have knocked before l went in.
