Apples in Amsterdam

I was up early this morning and decided to visit an old friend in Amsterdam for coffee this morning, before going to work. She has two apple trees in pots on her balcony on the third floor! These are Elstar. In the background is the Amstel Hotel where King Alexander and Queen Maxima got married. Without me being on the balcony though :-)
