Strawberry (fields) forever

I know, more soft fruit; I'm sorry but it is in abundance and I do love to pick it all and then make köstlichen Kreationen damit.

After what seemed like an unpromising start, the strawberry plants we planted in spring have really come into their own over the last month or so and we have daily crops of the most delicious strawbs I've ever tasted. It just hasn't stopped producing fruit.

These beauties were destined for a post run strawberry and banana smoothie.
