This is something of an emergency blip, as I’ve not taken any proper photos today.
However, that’s not to say that it wasn’t a very welcome sight when it appeared on the table beside my chair. The tea was made, as always, with tea leaves, brewed for five minutes precisely (timed on Smithers’ watch) and the scone was still slightly warm from the oven. Marmalade is my conserve of choice on a scone, but Smithers prefers jam.
So you see I am a thoroughly spoiled woman and am a very grateful one as well. I haven’t been idle today either, though, because I’ve had a sudden flurry of requests for special cards, including a 70th wedding anniversary card. How amazing is that?
