Sculptures
A planned catch-up with a friend and former colleague today and we made it to the last day of the Sculptures in the garden at Doddington Hall. We did the same exactly a year ago but on a damp and grey day. Today there was sunshine and warmth as we went round the garden and then had lunch but a torrential cloudburst as we were leaving. It was good to have a proper catch up and there were a number of sculptures that we liked. The kitchen garden was also looking full of produce. It's also a popular location for jobs for students, one current and two former today, including one that was in Y10 when I first started 29 years ago and whose son is now in Y8. I don't think she looks any different.
Home to Bailey and a steady end to the weekend. A couple of minor work jobs finished, another walk for Bailey and Educating Yorkshire.
